Uke 22: A Successful Week

We gained a new investigator this week! This is the first new investigator we have gotten since I came to Hamar so I'm pretty excited about it! Her name is Eli and she met with missionaries years ago when she lived in Oslo, and she almost joined the church then, but when she moved here she lost contact with missionaries until we banked on her door. She is super nice and open to learning!

Other than that, there wasnt too much going on this week so we had lots of free time to contact people on the street and bank on doors. We found 4-5 people who said they might be interested to meet with us so it was a a pretty successful week for us. One lady that we found is from Spain (we think she said spain) but her Norwegian isnt so good so Elder Sadler and I have started reading church pamphlets in Spanish to learn some Iglesia vocab.

On one day after a lot of walking around the city talking to people we decided we needed a little break so we explored Hamar a little. Apparently Hamar is home to the world's most renowned diving tower, so we went to the lake to look at that, and check out some other stuff there. The lake is frozen and covered with snow, so we walked out on it and wrote Jesus in the snow. Picture included. Unfortunately it has snowed another 4-6 inches since then so its probably not visible anymore ðŸ˜¢

have it well, we are spoken!
