Uke 23: Koselig og hyggelig

hallo folkens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We got a couple more investigators this week! One is a total bro muslim guy named Shpetim. The other is a super cool Eritrean teenager named Josef! So the work is progressing and were hoping to have some people ready for baptism by the time the lake unfreezes haha. It actually got above 0*C this week a couple times and the sun has been shining a lot so its been very koselig.

Last week i wrote that we were going to have a lesson with a spanish lady. We showed up and she wasnt home but her husband was... He is Norwegian and atheist. But he was very hyggelig and he let us come in. We talked about evolution, the nature of spirits, and the origin of the universe, and of course the church and the book of mormon. He had read the bible and the quran before, so he was pretty interested in reading our book. He took a Book of Mormon in Norwegian and one in Spanish for his wife, and a card with our number and the churches address. I dont know of too many missionaries that have given 2 books and a card to an atheist before so Elder Sadler and I feel pretty special.

On thursday we got to take a train to Oslo for Zone conference! I got to see some homies and hear our Zone leaders' analogy for weight lifting applied to making studies effective. Also its always cool to go to Oslo cuz there are so many people there!

JIT! 🐊
